Robert J. Lagomarsino Archives

Robert J. Lagomarsino served as a California State Senator (1961-1974) under governors Brown and Reagan and as a United States Representative (1974-1992) under presidents Nixon, Ford, Carter, Bush, and Reagan. The collection consists of artifacts, correspondence, documents, furniture, photographs, and memorabilia. Topics of interest for researchers include campus history, state history, the development of Channel Islands National Park, state and federal legislative history, public policy and the environment, and international affairs.  Documentation in the collection includes Watergate transcripts and the report on the Ill-fated Challenger Space Shuttle.
