Space in the John Spoor Broome Library is intended to support academic research, instruction, and scholarly study. Broome Library also sponsors and co-sponsors events and activities in coordination with University partners and student initiatives.
Student groups that wish to use space in Broome Library to support occasional and time-limited projects may request use of specified Library spaces by submitting the Student-Based Community Engagement Projects Request Form. Please note the following:
- Requests must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the planned project. You will hear from Broome Library within 72 hours whether your request has been approved.
- The project must have a defined start date and end date and may last no longer than 30 days.
- The contact information of the person responsible for collecting any materials donated and for retrieving any equipment or other supplies used in the project must be specified.
Any donations not collected within 7 days of the conclusion of the drive will be donated to local charities by the Library. The Library reserves the right to remove and dispense with any project-related equipment left on site.
