5th Annual "Dia de los Muertos" Art Exhibition and Sand Mural

Multicultural Programs and Art Program are pleased to announce the 5th Annual "Dia de los Muertos" Art Exhibition and Sand Mural Installation on Monday, October 28, 2013. On October 28, a colorful Mixtec styled sand mural designed by the well-known Chicana artist Sandra De La Loza will be installed/created from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at John Spoor Broome Library Plaza. The University and local community are invited to help create the seven ton, 20 by 10 foot sand mural. Join us that evening at 5:00 p.m. for the Celebration of the Lights at the Broome Library Plaza. El Dia de los Muertos /"Day of Dead" altar exhibition will be located at The John Spoor Broome Library First Floor South Alcove from October 28 to November 8, 2013.
