Filipinos in Ventura County Digital Image Collection
The Filipinos in Ventura County Digital Image Collection contains photographs capturing the history of Filipinos and their contributions to the Ventura County community from the 1900s to 1990s. Librarian Elnora Tayag initiated efforts to collect and document the history of this community and received grants from the California Council for the Promotion of History and the Institute of Museum and Libraries Services through the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA), administered by the California State Library's Local History Digital Resources Project to digitize and preserve the collection. The collection was digitized and made accessible by Elnora Tayag, Janet Pinkley, and Laura Worden.
